Hey, I do have a few answers to some of the questions you've asked.
There's a few that I can't personally answer, though. I'm sure sketchi has way more details.

2: Just male x female breeding, right? I feel like that would make sense/be a stupid question, but m x m and f x f work in the tests so I figured I’d ask. (And why are they always so much prettier oof)

So far, yes. From what I can tell it'll only be between females and males since that's technically how it is in reality. ><

3: Will there be a cost to breed?

Yes, I'm not sure what the exact cost but I know a cost was mentioned before.

4: Will you be able to keep all of them? (And if not, what happens to the extras?)

Yes!! You get to keep them.

And 6: How often can they breed?

I believe they had a certain amount of breeding slots until they couldn't be bred anymore, but not 100% sure on the actual number.
